Keno Methods That Make Money

It won’t usually be seen as the most lucrative game in the field of betting, but keno has tons of steadfast players. As well it should! It’s a constantly thrilling lottery-type game that’s uncomplicated to learn, abundantly available in lots of different variations, and one that may yield mega-dollars for players who learn its limitless subtle nuances. But let’s begin with the basics for now.

When defining keno to newcomers, some gaming masters compare it to lotto. This is at least partly apt, in that both games are basically numerical. Yet to take that comparison too far might be to think too little of the many unique traits that make keno so exciting. Not like bingo, keno gamblers have the ability to pick the numbers for each card.

Keno cards have a total of 80 numbers, but the player is given an extra level of personal responsibility by being able to determine as many (or as few) numbers as she desires. And it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to come up with how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark each of your selected numbers with a ordinarypen like you used when you were in grade 3.

Now that you have checked your numbers, take your keno card back to the clerk at the keno stand. The nice person will record those numbers and then give you a receipt. Do not drop this (potentially) expensive bit of paper! Even if the clerk remembers your face and would like to help out, without a winning slip with you, you will win precisely $.00 for your time spent.

OK, so there you have strategy #1: always be sure to keep your keno ticket. Let us get on to something a little bit more advanced, ok?

After you’ve checked off your numbers, settle into a comfy keno booth and observe the action happen on the screen. That’s where the winning numbers are shown in lights. If you have winning numbers, mark your card accordingly. Make sure not to dally, or sit there praising yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You are required to get back to the keno booth to collect your winnings, as a new keno game will certainly start within five minutes.

Strategy number 2: always make sure to get back to the keno booth on time!

Since you can’t trust yourself to make that 5 minute margin each time, you always have the option of using a "multi-race" card. These include the self same set of your handpicked numbers on anywhere from 2 to 20 slips. When the maximum amount of keno games (the same as the number of tickets) is finished, you can then get off your numb back side and go redeem your winnings.

Another opportunity is referred to as a "stray and play" keno slip, which usually lets you make number choices for thirty keno games or more. Hell, you can take an ocean cruise and not have to fret about getting back in time to redeem your numbers. Most "stray and play" game tickets are good for up to a whole year after you purchase it!

And now you have learned a number of necessary schemes for winning keno. If you are an experienced gambler, they may appear to be quite obvious. However, it does not hurt to bone up on the basics, and if you are a beginner gambler, every bit of information will help make your keno playing time more captivating.
