Keno is one of those games you either know about or you do not. It’s basically deemed as a lottery in the casino. Like the lotto, the game is made up of numbers being drawn. The challenge is to select the numbers that will be selected. The game of Keno can either be fast or leisurely based on the casino. By wagering on Keno on the net you can set the speed of the game. As for me, I love real life keno. You hang out in a lounge, if you like, and play. Keno is a game that you don’t have to be present to enjoy and be a winner. For instance, you can put in a ticket for twenty games and then go play another game in the casino or even your suite if you’re staying in the casino.

Keno Game Board

The game is wagered on on a game board. The Keno game board is made up of 80 total numbers – number 1 though 80. The 1st 40 are known as a the top half and the 2nd forty are known as the bottom half.

Competing in Keno

Every game of Keno plays out the same. The round begins, and 20 numbers are selected. The casino may be using the ball system. Ping pong like balls are sucked up and selected, just like the lottery on TV. Other casinos use pc’s. If a number you picked is selected, that’s known as a "hit." When all 20 numbers have been picked, the round finishes and winning tickets are paid-out.

There is an abundance of choices in the game of Keno. For example, you might pick 1 number, two numbers and so forth-up to 20 numbers. Normally, you need to hit most of your numbers to win anything. For example, if you pick 6 numbers, you will normally need to hit three to earn your money back.

Keno Payouts

The pay outs in Keno are fairly decent. The probability of winning is based on the total numbers selected. For example, if you pick two numbers, you will have a six percent chance of hitting your ticket. Every casino’s Keno department has their own payouts. If you are playing online, be sure you shop all over for the biggest payouts first.
