Keno is one of those games you either know about or you do not. It is basically seen as a lottery in the casino. Like the lottery, the game is made up of numbered balls being drawn. The object is to pick the numbers that will be selected. The game of Keno can be either fast or slow based on the casino. By gambling on Keno on the internet you can control the pace of the game. For me, I love live keno. You relax in a lounge, if you like, and play. Keno is a game that you do not need to be in the lounge to enjoy and be a winner. For example, you can put in a ticket for 20 games and then go compete in something else in the casino or even your suite if you are staying at the casino.

Keno Board

The game is bet on on a board. The Keno board is made up of eighty numbers total – numbered one to eighty. The top 40 are known as a the top portion and the bottom forty are known as the bottom portion.

Participating in Keno

Each round of Keno plays out in the same manner. The round starts, and 20 numbers are drawn. They might be using the ball system. Ping pong like balls are blown up and picked, exactly like the lottery on TV. Other casinos utilize computers. If a number you selected is selected, that’s known as a "hit." When all twenty numbers have been selected, the round ends and winning tickets are paid.

There is a lot of diversity in the game of Keno. For instance, you could pick a single number, two numbers and so on up to twenty numbers. Typically, you need to get most of your numbers to win anything. For example, if you pick six numbers, you will generally have to hit 3 to get your money back.

Keno Payouts

The payouts in Keno are pretty good. The odds of coming away with a win depends on the total numbers checked. For example, if you select two numbers, you will have a 6% chance of hitting your ticket. Each casino’s Keno department has their own payouts. If you are looking to play on the internet, make sure you shop around for the best payouts first.
