Keno was referred to as the White Pigeon Game, due to the fact that the winning numbers were delivered by pigeons from bigger cities to the smaller villages. The lotto ‘Keno’ was imported to the US in the 1800s by Chinese newcomers who migrated to the US for work. In those times, Keno used one hundred and twenty numbers.

Regardless of the fact that the chances of succeeding are terrible, there is always the possibility that you might win quite big with a tiny gaming investment.

Keno is enjoyed with 80 numbers with twenty numbers drawn each round. Enthusiasts of Keno can choose from 2 to ten numbers and gamble on them, whatever amount they are able to. The pay out of Keno is according to the wagers made and the roll out of matching numbers.

Keno grew in popularity in the United States near the close of the 19th century when the Chinese letters were changed with , American numbers. Lottos were not covered under the legalization of wagering in the state of Nevada in 1931. The casinos renamed the ‘Chinese lotto’ to ‘horse race keno’ employing the idea that the numbers are horses and you want your horses to place. When a law passed that levied a tax on off track betting, casinos quickly altered the name to ‘Keno’.
